In the last and 14th race on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule on Sunday, May 29, the Coca-Cola 600 from Charlotte Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina, Denny Hamlin got his second win of the year (Richmond) in an exciting double-overtime finish.

NASCAR in Land of Lincoln for Enjoy Illinois 300 on Sunday

It was the first-ever win in the Coca-Cola 600 for Hamlin—who held the lead at the race’s final restart—as he held off his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Kyle Busch. Kyle Busch won in Kansas, so Busch and Hamlin are both doing very well right now and worth Futures looks.

The Enjoy Illinois 300 presented by TicketSmarter is a 240-lap, 300-mile race around the 1.25 miles (2.01 km) paved oval race track (Asphalt) located at the World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois.

Five different Drivers have won the last five races—Hamlin (Charlotte), Kyle Busch (Kansas), Joey Logano (Darlington), Chase Elliott (Dover), Ross Chastain (Talladega)—with Busch winning twice in the last six races and Hamlin two times in the last 7 (Richmond).

The next and 16th race on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule will be next weekend and the running of the Toyota/Save Mart 350 from Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California on Sunday, June 12 (TV—FS1, RADIO—PRN, SiriusXM; 4 pm ET/3 pm CT/1 pm PT).

The CookOut Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway in Darlington, SC, on September 4 will be the first race of the NASCAR Playoffs and the Postseason concludes with the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, AZ on November 6.

The entire 2022 NASCAR Cup Series Regular Season as well as the NASCAR Playoffs will all be streamed live on FOX and the FOX App Available on Smartphones and Mobile Devices, and legal betting on NASCAR is the easiest, fastest, and safest as it has ever been.

Can Joe Gibbs Racing Stay Hot With a Victory on Sunday?

Despite two wins in his last 6 races, Denny Hamlin (+860 to win 2022 Enjoy Illinois 300, MyBookie) still is currently the last man out and in 17th place in the NASCAR Cup Series Points Standings with 309 points, 12 behind 16-place Erik Jones (321), so remember this.

This is the first running of the race so there is no history to handicap and although Ford has been doing pretty well and had 10 of the top 20 at the NASCAR Cup Series Goodyear 400 with Joey Logano winning, the Toyotas have been winning some money lately.

In his No. 18 Toyota Camry, Kyle Busch (8/1 to win 2022 Enjoy Illinois 300), is worth a look here but maybe Hamlin becomes the first Driver to win back-to-back races in his No. 11 Toyota Camry and wins his third race of the season and jumps into the Playoffs race.

Kyle Larson (5/1) is the Favorite here, but Favorites haven’t done so great at NASCAR Cup Series Futures sportsbooks, so tossing the Favorite every week is actually a handicapping strategy. A process of elimination by Math and Recency Bias perhaps, but a strategy.

Chase Elliott (6/1) won at Dover, William Byron (8/1) won in Atlanta and Martinsville while Ryan Blaney (8/1) is still looking for his first win of the season, so eliminating them and Texas and Talladega winner Ross Chastain (+850) is also a process of elimination.

Martin Truex Jr. (12/1) and Joey Logano (12/1) haven’t been driving particularly well, although Logano did win at Darlington while Las Vegas winner Alex Bowman (14/1) seems to be in a cold spell with Kevin Harvick and Tyler Reddick (both 22/1) also very quiet.

Toyota is a great Manufacturer, Joe Gibbs Racing an elite team, and both the elder Busch and Hamlin feeling pretty good about themselves and their teams this late Spring as we approach the halfway mark on the 36-race NASCAR Cup Series schedule. 온라인카지노
