Week 9 NFL Predictions: Odds and Picks For Every Game

Week nine of the 2016 NFL season gets started on Thursday Night Football this week, when the Falcons look to avoid a season sweep by the hands of the Buccaneers.온라인카지노

Atlanta vs. Tampa Bay is just one of many divisional titles in week nine, as we also get five additional same-division matchups on the week.

The game of the week probably comes on Sunday Night Football when the 6-2 Raiders host the 6-2 Broncos, but this NFL betting slate may otherwise be a little more predictable than past weeks. Let’s see if that’s the case as we break down each matchup and see which way you should be betting in our week nine NFL picks:

Bovada gives the visiting Falcons the edge for TNF, and it makes sense, since Atlanta is 5-2 since dropping their home opener to these very Buccaneers in week one. The Falcons certainly have some issues on offense and they are 0-3 against Jameis Winston, but they’re the better team and Winston’s luck against ATL can’t last forever.

We like Matt Ryan to put up a big game in a high-scoring win that hits the Over and sees the Falcons covering.

Pick: Falcons 34, Buccaneers 27

The Eagles and Giants battle for positioning in the competitive NFC East this week, but it’s a little odd to see the G-Men enter this matchup as the favorites. At the very least, Philly is worth picking to beat the spread, seeing as New York’s wins have all come by seven points or fewer.

Spread or not, the Eagles have the superior defense and should be able to rattle Eli Manning enough to earn a close win.

Pick: Eagles 20, Giants 17

Dallas is dominating the NFC East at the moment, and they enter an easy week nine date with the Browns at 6-1. Dak Prescott has the firm backing of the entire Cowboys organization and he should have a huge day against the winless Browns.

Cleveland switching from Josh McCown to rookie quarterback Cody Kessler can’t help matters.

Pick: Cowboys 37, Browns 17

The Lions could have a great opportunity ahead of them, as they go to Minnesota this week to attempt to hand a reeling Vikings’ squad their third straight defeat. We’d jump at that bet if we at all trusted a middling Detroit team, while Minnesota playing a poor defense at home could be precisely what they need to get back on track.

Pick: Vikings 23, Lions 16

The Jets and Dolphins give us another fun divisional battle – one that could be quite the toss up. Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Jets seem to have backed their way into two consecutive wins, which sets up a pretty huge AFC East showdown in Miami.

The key will be figuring out which team is “for real”, but given the fact that New York’s defense has been lacking and this game is in South Beach (Miami is 3-1 at home), we tend to favor the Fins.

Pick: Dolphins 27, Jets 20

It’s not ideal when a Super Bowl participant coming off a big win enters a week as extremely mild favorite over the Rams. This should probably be a bigger spread, seeing as the Rams have fallen apart (three straight losses) and are contemplating a quarterback change.

Regardless of whether it’s Case Keenum or Jared Goff under center for L.A. this week, the result should be the same.

Pick: Panthers 30, Rams 16

It’s tough to know just what we have in both the Colts and Packers, but something tells us we may find out in week nine. The Packers have two very close losses to top shelf teams on their resume and usually take care of business at home, while Indy has been reckless in five losses and is just 1-3 on the road.바카라사이트

We can probably expect a shootout and a chance at the Over in this one, but Green Bay should find a way to hold serve at home and keep pace with the NFC North-leading Vikings.

Pick: Packers 31, Colts 27

We wouldn’t have thought it a few weeks ago, but this Titans/Chargers tilt in San Diego could actually tell us something about the AFC wild card picture. The Bolts probably need to win here to stay alive, while the Titans are somehow still in the race for the awful AFC South.

San Diego has really endured an awful season of injuries and close losses, so one way or another, they’re going to be in this. Spotting the Chargers a -5.5 line feels too gracious, though. We like San Diego to win, but not by much.

Pick: Chargers 23, Titans 20

In possibly the best game of the week, the Broncos head to Oakland to see if the Raiders are legit. If they are, Derek Carr and co. just might steal the AFC West with a huge home win against their hated rival this week.

It’s tough to buy into that, of course, as Denver still boasts an elite defense and the Raiders are 0-2 this year against teams with winning records.

Pick: Broncos 27, Raiders 20

Alex Smith and Spencer Ware both suffered concussions last week, so it’s understandable that we’re not seeing updated betting info for this Jaguars/Chiefs battle just yet. As it stands, though, Kansas City plays host with Nick Foles and Charcandrick West as two of their key offensive players.

Luckily for the Chiefs, they’re at home and still have an elite defense. Oh, and Blake Bortles is horrendous.

Pick: Chiefs 24, Jaguars 10

The Steelers and Ravens butt heads in Baltimore this week, with this being another game without defined betting lines due to Ben Roethlisberger (knee) still not officially being declared the starter.

It sounds like Big Ben will take the field, however, so it’s going to be tough to bet against the Steelers when they take on a Ravens team that has dropped four in a row.

Pick: Steelers 27, Ravens 23

There isn’t any betting information out for this Saints/Niners clash, either, but it isn’t due to injury. Whatever the case, this probably isn’t the spot to bet with that old “the Saints can’t win on the road” logic. San Francisco has dropped six straight and has truly looked like hot garbage.

Look for Drew Brees and co. to enjoy a rare road win.

Pick: Saints 31, 49ers 21

The last game of the week goes down in Seattle, where Russell Wilson and the Seahawks face off with Rex Ryan’s Bills. This game is also absent of current betting data at the time of this writing, seeing as LeSean McCoy is iffy.

Seattle is the natural favorite at home, as they need to get things going again after going 0-1-1 in their last two contests. Buffalo comes in slumping with two straight losses, too, and it’s going to be awfully tough for them to pick up the pieces on the road, where the Seahawks are undefeated (3-0) this year.온라인카지노

Pick: Seahawks 20, Bills 16
